The Lingdale Tavern is one of the villages oldest buildings, constructed in the 1870s. It has served the people of Lingdale as a pub and inn for many years but in 2009 its doors closed for 7 years.  John Stonehouse, a born and bread Lingdale man, bought the shell and completely refurbished the whole building. Not only refurbishing the bar area but a brand new kitchen has also been fitted so we not only offer drinks but restaurant food and a Sunday carvery.

Three generations of the Stonehouse family on opening day of The Tavern, 26th November 2016
